A year on and we’re back, our second event, Gravity Show 2017.

After a hugely successful first year, it was clear we had to up the game for this years event and make it bigger and better, we think we did just that! More cars, more traders, more entertainment and most importantly a much higher quality of car. Still residing at the same venue, Stoneleigh Park NAEC in Warwickshire in the midlands, the central location and size of the show makes it one of the go-to events of the summer in the European show calendar.

We had over 500+ of Europe’s best cars attend the show from over 7 countries one of which was Jens Evensen and his incredible Rocket Bunny Porsche Cayman S all the way from Norway! Huge shoutout to all of the guys travelling from all over the world to attend the show, it’s a privilege to host an event that appeals to such a wide audience.

We pride our event on variation and style. This year the variation was event better than we could have hoped for, timeless classics coupled with brand new performance cars, German engineering meeting Japanese skid cars, there was something for everyone. Including the above Hillman IMP with Martini Racing Livery above and the Profusion Customs RWB Porsche Below.

There were three different area’s of show&shine at our Gravity Show, the Main Hall, the Outside area and the VIP Hall, there were 15 awards plus an overall show winner and an Auto Finesse Sponsors Choice award, the winner of which you can see below in Tom Lilico’s fantastically fitted Z3, which incidentally also won our Best Fitment award.

Next up we have James Tooley’s SR20 powered, Rocket Bunny S15. This took home our ‘Craziest Build’ award at the show, very well deserved and a car we have always loved.

The Jap side of the car world had a pretty big presence at the show this year from all over the UK and Europe. Below you can see Kyle and Ben’s matching cream S Body’s with slightly different touches, we do love a twin build.

Johan Lundberg drove his cream Evo X all the way from Sweden, now that’s commitment!

Nick Gaerthe made the trip over from the Netherlands in his very well known bright purple, custom wide body Nissan 350Z complete with crazy wing, splashes of carbon and aero splitters.

One of our awards got a lot of attention, our ‘Beauty & The Beast’ trophy, which consisted of custom carbon base and a glass enclosed blue ‘Forever Rose’ provided by our friends at ‘The Forever Rose Company’. The thought process behind this award was to try and find a car which was aesthetically really good looking and well done whilst having a ‘Beast’ of an engine. Taking this into consideration our winner was Ross Bradley and his half carbon, totally crazy in the best way possible BMW E30.

One of our sponsors ‘The Performance Company’ are also known as ‘Liberty Walk Europe’ and ‘AirRex Europe’. Their stand was nothing short of amazing with two Liberty Walk GTR’s and a brand new V10 Liberty Walk R8, next year they’re set to bring a whole lot more Liberty Walk cars to the show.

Our main man Kiran Halsey had both of his cars on our SlammedUK stand at the show, his Rocket Bunny GT86 dripping in Carbon and his newly bagged F80 M3 daily, again with a heavy touch of carbon.

Winner of our ‘Best Trade Stand’ award, Auto Finesse’s cars were pretty much perfect in every way as always and their stand was needless to say, very impressive.

We also had Baggsy and his brand new Liberty Walk Monster Energy R35 GTR sporting a fresh 7.4L LSX 454 V8 swap with an absolutely enormous GTX4718R Turbo, making around 1200bhp. If you were at the show you probably would have heard it when we had it revving for a few minutes, safe to say it’s dangerously loud and created 4ft flames from the front exhaust exit.

Mr Dan Taylor and his E46 M3 were present as always as you can see above, providing and judging our ‘Best Wheels’ award. Unfortunately we didn’t allow him to give the award to him self… although those fully polished BBS E88 centre-locks deserve a pat on the back.

Lydia’s static S2000 is always a pleasure to see, driving over from Wales, this low, with no air ride, apparently she has bigger balls than most.

That sums up our event feature for the show, we will have a whole load of other pictures from the event being shared on our Facebook ‘Slammed UK‘ and our Instagram ‘OfficialSlammedUK‘ so keep an eye out if you haven’t seen your car yet!

We want to say a massive thank you to anyone and everyone that attended, sponsors, traders, car owners, attendee’s and spectators. This years show was a massive turnout compared to last year and next year we hope to up our game once more so watch this space. The show date for next year is July 15th 2018, stick it in the diaries!
